Bluebonnets and the Boys

Tonight we took the boys to a nearby field in the hopes of capturing a few pictures in the Texas Bluebonnets. Nolan readily cooperated (at first) thanks to a bribe for a car for his Color Blaster he received for Easter. Griffin was happy until the moment we sat him down in the field. The grass irritated him immensely. It took several attempts (with me playing “extreme” peek a boo with Griffin) before we obtained a few individual shots we liked. We tried several times to take joint pictures with not much luck. Griffin was not happy the minute I even started to set him down. He knew what was coming! At the end we sat the boys down on top of the cover from James’ reflector and looked like we may get a few good pictures (with now a bribe of an ice cream for Nolan) and then James’ camera locked up. We decided to call it a day. We may make another attempt sometime this week. (I can’t really ask James about that right now! He is still recovering from the stress from a few hours ago).
