Here’s the video for Christmas of last year. This was the first Christmas that Griffin had some awareness that something special was happening. We didn’t have snow this time, but we still had fun.

Here it is, only four months late: Nolan’s 6th birthday video. This year, we had Nolan’s party at a bowling alley. All the kids seemed to love it.

A few weeks back, Melanie and I went to see a band called Fitz & the Tantrums. They have a song called “Moneygrabber” (iTunes link) that Griffin loves. After trying and failing for weeks to capture his reaction to the song, we were finally able to capture the phenomenon of the littlest Moneygrabber. He only knows one line from the song “Don’t come back, anytime, you’ve already robbed me blind. This is your payback – moneygrabber.” but he makes the most of it. Of course, Griffin’s version goes something like, “Come back, an time. You all really rob blin. This is PAY BACK! MONEY GRABBEH.”
Be sure to notice his crowd work about halfway through when he tells me to stand up. Apparently, he wasn’t satisfied with the amount of crowd participation.
