Ever since we found out we were pregnant, changes have been occurring in the Prescott household. Changes that include re-doing Nolan’s room, preparing the nursery, "preparing" Nolan, and most definitely, James and I "preparing" ourselves for life with two boys. One of the less noticeable changes that also should be mentioned is Nolan’s blog. Since before Griffin was even a reality, James and I had bought the domain name, www.prescottplace.net in preparation for the day when we would be writing about more than one child. Literally the day we decided on the name Griffin, James also bought www.griffinprescott.com. Probably something that does not cross the minds of many parents, but when your daddy is James, having your own web address is important!
You may have noticed I really have not blogged much about this pregnancy. Not because I have not wanted to share our journey, but because I feel that Nolan’s site is not the place. Not "fair" to him. James and I have been VERY sensitive and extremely emotional as we think about our family of three becoming a family of four. The main reason being how it will effect Nolan. Now everyone we know that has experienced this assures us that Nolan will transition "just fine." We really do believe this, but it still seems hard on us to think about sharing our time, energy, and love with another child. James and I have literally spent hours talking about how to make this as easy on Nolan as possible. Time will tell if we will be able to live up to our ideal plans.
So in the "spirit" of holding on to our lives being as much about Nolan as possible, James and I have not done anything about our little blog. Tonight we actually started talking about how we will make the transition. We decided the easiest way is to move to www.prescottplace.net and blog about our "every day adventures of two boys named Nolan and Griffin" in one spot. James is already busy researching and working out the technical side of moving to the new site. Don’t even begin to ask me. My only instructions were that I wanted the header "to be cute!" All of the old posts will be at the new site as well as links to the videos on You Tube. Pictures hosted at Nolan’s site will no longer be there, but all pictures on Flickr will. This is because James is switching to a new blog host. Like I said, don’t ask me. We will all get used to the new site together! 
When we make the switch, Nolan and Griffin’s sites will be forwarded to prescottplace.net. Not quite sure when that will be. We will keep you posted. Oh dear this makes me sad just thinking about it! 
While we are talking about Nolan’s site I wanted to just mention that since we started Nolan’s site almost three years ago, it has had almost 11,000 "hits!" Isn’t that amazing? On average over a 100 hits a week! Now I would assume about half of those are from Nolan’s grandparents, but still…WOW! Nolan’s site is viewed all over the world and often comes up when someone does a "Google search." It always fascinates James and I that when someone googled "donuts with dad" for example, Nolan’s site came up and then that person spent time actually reading posts and viewing videos. This happens all the time! James and I both love viewing the statistics and are amazed at the "following" Nolan has!
