Quick update: We finally heard back from the cardiologist late last night. All the initial tests came back fine. They’ll keep an eye on him, but everything seems ok now. If we understood correctly, the “flow issue” should resolve itself as he grows. Yesterday was a long, long day waiting for that news, but good news is always worth waiting for.

I asked Craig about this and he said that VSDs are very common and that most of them are nothing to worry about. They will often close on their own as the child grows.
