Tomorrow we will once again brave the insanity that is to have Nolan and now Griffin’s picture made with THE Northpark Mall’s Santa Claus. If you are a long time follower of this blog, you may remember the adventures that have ensued each year as we wait with the hundreds of other children each day to have their picture made with this Santa Claus. For the first time James will be joining us this year! (You must go during the weekday, because the crowds are significantly worse on the weekends. He has not been able to take off of work in the past.)
I was just sharing tomorrow’s agenda with James and his response was “You mean I have to go at 9:00 AM to get a ticket only to then have to wait hours before the actual picture will be taken?” My response was “Have you NOT listened to me describe this each year or read the blog?” Yes, this is a major production, but I am a glutton for punishment! And I just love looking at Nolan’s pictures from the past three years with this Santa. It is an annual tradition that is worth it to me!
So tomorrow we will once again brave this craziness as we have in Year One, Year Two, and Year Three. I cannot wait to share the memories of Year Four!
