The everyday adventures of Nolan and Griffin

Nolan’s Birthday Weekend

on February 8, 2009

JAP_4768-62Nolan’s birthday celebration began when he woke up Friday morning with a house decorated with balloons and streamers. Griffin, Nolan, and I went to Mc Donald’s for lunch and play time. We then went home to wait for family to arrive for his “family birthday party” as Nolan called it. Once my parents, James’ parents, my aunt, cousin, and grandfather arrived we ate dinner, opened presents, and had the much anticipated MONSTER TRUCK cake!

On Saturday morning we headed to Boomerangs for his “friends birthday party.” Nolan celebrated his camouflage themed birthday party with about 20 kids and 35-40 parents and family. Most of the children wore camo clothing and had a great time bouncing in an assortment of inflatables. As soon as the party was over, Nolan could not wait to get home and tear into the presents. Nolan continued to be on a birthday “high” for the remainder of the day!

It was so fun to watch Nolan celebrate his fourth birthday. He was filled with complete happiness and joy. Here are pictures of the celebration(s)!
