On Friday night, I took Nolan and one of his best buddies, Brady, to the annual Frisco “Easter Eggstravaganza”. 60,000 eggs were scattered on the stadium field at Pizza Hut Park. The event was as organized as possible considering there were thousands of children anxiously holding their Easter baskets in anticipation for the green light to start “hunting.” The field was divided into sections by age group to help lessen the chaos. Even with so many eggs, once the hunt began, it was literally over in less than a minute! The boys had a great time!
One funny side note. An announcement was made prior to the event starting to remind parents that only children were allowed to hunt for eggs. Considering how competitive things are around here, I am not surprised!
Racing into the stadium!
See what I mean? CHAOS!! And this picture does not even show the whole field!

Buddies!

Being silly and getting bored waiting!

The field just for the five and six year olds!

So close to the hunt starting!

Finally!

And about 45 seconds later. It is over!!

Needing a little rest from all the hunting.

And they needed just a little more sugar (after eating a candy egg) right?
